Bradycardia is a condition where the heart rate is slower than normal—typically less than 60 beats per minute in adults. While it can be normal in athletes or during sleep, in some cases, it may mean the heart isn’t pumping enough oxygen-rich blood to the body. Possible Causes: Aging or damage to the heart’s electrical system Certain medications Hypothyroidism Sleep apnea Heart disease Symptoms may include: Fatigue Dizziness or light headedness Shortness of breath Fainting spells Chest discomfort Confusion or memory problems Diagnosis & Treatment: ECG and other tests help confirm bradycardia. If severe, a pacemaker may be required to maintain normal heart rhythm. ❤️ Regular heart monitoring is key—especially if you feel tired or dizzy often.
