Atrial Flutter is a type of arrhythmia where the upper chambers of the heart (atria) beat very fast, but in a regular pattern. It reduces the heartโ€™s efficiency and increases the risk of stroke and blood clots. ๐Ÿซ€ In a normal heartbeat, electrical signals move in a controlled way. In atrial flutter, these signals loop rapidly, causing the atria to beat around 250โ€“350 times per minute. ๐Ÿ” Causes may include: Heart disease or valve problems High blood pressure Recent heart surgery Thyroid disorders Excessive alcohol or caffeine ๐Ÿ“‰ Symptoms can include: Palpitations (fast, fluttering heartbeat) Shortness of breath Fatigue Dizziness or fainting Chest discomfort ๐Ÿฉบ Diagnosis: ECG or Holter monitor ๐Ÿ’Š Treatment: Medications, cardioversion, or ablation
